Hahaha!

Write with all your heart! Write until you die, for what better things are there to do of great importance other than writing! When you are dead it will be there, and those left behind will be envious. Write, and you shall be remembered forever!

Unless a fire should destroy the only copy of your works.

Been awhile, hasn't it not?

I walked down the aisle that guided me to his resting place. It was a solitary meadow just beyond a cluster of birch trees, and to no other of any importance. But there lies a lover. There lies my once lover. There lies my beloved. And I visit…

Been busy...

Startled:

I ran, as hard as I could. Who knew how long I had to run, but as the trees were startled by the bustling wind I ran harder. Why did this keep happening? Why can't my life be normal? I can do this. I can make it. I will survive this night as well. Just keep running.

Da

I'm think of trying out some more writing practices. Maybe 30 minute time limits. And after I do a few of those I'll try hour long writing sessions. All different stories. All starting off with a random word that has to be used in the first sentence. I might try that this weekend. I think it would be good practice.

De

Path:

Twisting through the branches and undergrowth that seemed to pull Jamie further into the forest the path was finally clear to her. What an odd experience. She'd never forget her compass again.

Guitar:

He gently strummed his guitar as the atmosphere in the coffee shop began to mellow. Many here weren’t meant to make it through the night. Only the man playing the guitar was in on the plan. Soon, as he slowly rose and pulled a gun out of his back pocket, these people would all be dead.

In my current mood I must write...

Climb:

Desperately the little bird clung to the side of the cliff. The ledge he was balanced on was precarious and hardly manageable as it was. He would have to climb several feet to reach the nest he so desperately needed.

Certainty: (my favorite thus far)

With great certainty Vladimir raced through the forest. He would not be late tonight. As the clouds raced across the moon with the great strength of the wind he could hear his heart hammering in his ears. He had to save Cyra. He had to make things right. She was his ultimate love.

La

These were hard for me today.

Scent:

As we walked into the room the scent of apple pie surrounded us. We marveled at how many pies this one small room could contain. There had to be at least a hundred pies in here. Where did grandma get the energy?

Complete:

Something was missing. Where did the last piece go?

“George, did you take it?” He just looked at me with those smug coke bottle glasses pushed up high on his face. The puzzle wouldn’t be complete without the last piece.

A little somber...

Flag:

I held the flag in my hand. Watched as the wind made the fabric ripple and how the colors changed slightly with the shadows coming from the tree above me. I knew why I had to hand her this flag, but it didn't meant I wanted to. Was he really dead?

Followed by todays......

Bulb:

This was such a mess. There were shards of glass everywhere in my garden.

"Rachel what have you done?" she just sat sulking in the flower bed.

"You said to plant the new bulbs." she started to pout a little.

"The flower bulbs, not the light bulbs."

Forgot.

I forgot to mention in my first post, but I downloaded Apimac Timer to help me stay in that one minute time. Well 1 minute and 11 seconds, as what one word does. I guess they think you need eleven seconds to think. Anywho, Apimac Timer has a stopwatch, a countdown, and an alarm clock. It is helpful. :)

Funny I pull this word out on a Tuesday.

Wednesday:

It was a cold lonely day. Rain was falling in little ice droplets all over my new red raincoat. It was amazing what a few quick words could do to knock my mood down another notch. Not that anyone knew. Was it only just Wednesday? Only?

I caught it on the changing day.

Crown:

The spring flowers smelled sweet and butterflies flittered around Sussie's head.

"What a wonderful day!" I shouted to her across the field.

She ran to me, smiling that toothy grin of hers. She stopped just in time to place a flowered crown atop my head.

What a perfect day.

First One Word.....Flight

Hello! This is my blog for my short myths (also known as 'one words'). I wanted to try this out and also have a place to put them. I ran out of time but here is my first short myth:

Flight:
I watched as the plane took flight. It was another shock as people began to gasp and wonder.

"What is their deal?" I kept thinking. "Hadn't people been on a plane before?"

That's when I came to realize.
